Plate Edge Bevelers, Heavy Duty, Portable, Self-Propelled - KBM-28® produce clean machined bevels with no thermal distortion on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum plate from 5/16" (8.0 mm) to 2" (50.0 mm) thick. The KBM-28® bevels the topside of plate reducing time and cost. Savings are further enhanced when the topside Beveler is used with the KBM-28U underside Beveler in applications where both sides of the material require beveling.

Adjustable Undercarriage...For Easy Height Adjustment
The KBM-28® units can be purchased with Gullco's exclusive adjustable height self-aligning springloaded caster wheel assembly for self-propelled beveling along any length of plate maintaining a uniform bevel and consistent root face. Sold separate

Angle Bevel Pins...Enable Bevel Angle Adjustment
...KBM-28® units are supplied with a 30º angle bevel pin and can be supplied with angle bevel pins for 22 1/2º, 30º, 37 1/2º, 45º and 55º bevels. Pins for other bevel angles are available upon request.

Hydraulic Adjustable Undercarriage
For easy height adjustment

KBM-28 units can be supplied with choice of undercarriages. Both are supplied with Gullco exclusive selfaligning caster wheel assemblies for self propelled beveling along the length of the plate, maintaining a uniform bevel and consistent root face. Undercarriage sold separate.

Best suited for applications when frequent height adjustments are required.

Adjustable undercarriage supplied with Gullco's adjustable height self-aligning spring-loaded caster wheel assemblies for self-propelled operation. Best suited for applications where constant machine height is required.

KBM-28 U

The KBM-28U is perfect for beveling the underside of the plate without need for flipping the work piece over. In combination with the KBM-28 efficiency is greatly increased when beveling both the top and bottom of the plate.

Operates at 6.5 feet (2 meters) per minute
